For over 50 years, Trefor Owen has been a passionate advocate for jazz guitar clubs, having formed three since 1974. The Cheadle Jazz Guitar Club continues this proud tradition, providing a supportive environment where jazz guitarists can develop their skills and share their passion for the music.
As is customary, on the Thursday evening before each Wrexham International Jazz Guitar Weekend , the club hosts a special evening featuring our guest tutors. Throughout the year, it serves as a welcoming venue for players to try new material in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Here is a video from the club featuring Jim Mullen and Trefor Owen with Tom Clarke Hill on bass.
